Shumë lotët i derdha
në largësi pa ju
Dimra me shi e të ftohtë kalova
Nuk ishit me mua në mbrëmje
të më këndoni këngët e gjumit
E as në mëngjez
të më buzëqeshni para se të nisem në shkollë
Por sot
përsëri vi të ju shohë
e një mijë medime kapërcejnë trurin tim
se si do të ndihem
në atë moment
kur t’ju bije në përqafim
Do të ju shtrëngoj shumë

So many tears have I shed
in the distance without you
Winters with rain and cold I lived
You were not with me at night
to sing me lullabies
Nor in the morning
to smile before I left for school
But today
once again I am coming to see you
a thousand things cross my mind
how will I feel
at that very moment
when I embrace you
I will squeeze you firmly
